Klimacamp im Rheinland - Aktionstag "Markieren" +++ Climate Camp in the Rhineland - Action day "marking" today

Willkommen! Zusammen gegen Kohle

In the last years, the resistance against lignite mining and fossil capitalism was growing ever more strongly. Adding to the forms of resistance practiced since several years – petitions, letters, demonstrations – came on new forms of actions. In 2011 the first blockade of the railroad tracks of the Hambachbahn took place, 2014 the first occupation of a digger in the Rhineland. The forest occupations brought on exciting actions in tunnels, on trees and in barricades. 2015 the Rhineland experienced it's currently biggest mass action – Ende Gelände.

But: More is possible! Yesterday the action laboratory for new forms of innovative, creative, self organized resistance started - new forms of action are developed and practices. Today, the first main day takes place under the theme "Marking" places of destruction by coal mining. On Saturday, the second theme day, actions will take place regarding the theme "blocking".
