Spring and summer in France, 2016: 4 months of demonstrations, economic blockades, riots, occupations, beginning shortage of fuel, direct actions, strikes etc. were not enough to crash the liberal law of the left government. We review this social movement. A movement that marked us and that brought us together in the fight.
We also want to raise the question how to fight in Germany, where the
political realities are different but the capitalist consequences are
finally the same. What kind of solidarity is to establish? How can we
fight on two sides of the border, how can the struggles break through
the limits of one country?
In presence of people from france that witnessed this social movement and that are familiar with the french context.

Frankreich im Frühjahr und Sommer 2016: vier Monate Demonstrationen,
ökonomischer Blockaden, Riots, Besetzungen, Beginn von Treibstoffmangel,
direkter Aktionen, Streiks reichten nicht aus, um das liberale
Arbeitsgesetz der linken Regierung zu stürzen. Wir geben einen
anti-autoritären Rückblick auf diese Bewegung. Eine Bewegung, die uns
geprägt und die uns in den Kämpfen zusammen geführt hat. Wie können
soziale Kämpfe in Deutschland aussehen, wo die politischen Realitäten
zwar andere, die kapitalistischen Konsequenzen aber die gleichen sind?
Welche Formen der Solidarität lassen sich aufbauen? Wie lässt es sich
auf zwei Seiten der Grenze kämpfen und wie können die Konflikte die
nationale Beschränkung durchbrechen?
In Anwesenheit von französischen Freund*innen, die Teil der Bewegung waren.
