Since 8 September the Refugee Protest March of the whole country is on the way to Berlin to carry the aims of abolishing that racist system to that place where the responsible persons are. Because of that there will be a demonstration tomorrow, on 5 October, in Potsdam.

Residenzpflicht“, „Lagerpflicht“, the prohibition for work, permanent fear of deportation. Everybody who has dealt with the situation of refugees in Germany knows the insufferable conditions and inhuman treatment the refugees in Germany and other countries have to live under.

After building up protest tents of refugees in some German cities, the Refugee Protest March from Würzburg to Berlin started on 8 September. Beside the March there was another group of refugees going by bus through the northwest part of Germany. On 4 October the March reached the accommodation called „Freiland“ in Potsdam after visiting the „Asyllager“ in Schlaatz. At the accommodation they met the bus group. After a press conference on Friday, 5 October at 10 am in the Friedrich-Engels-Straße 22 all protesting refugees and activists will start the demonstration to the direction of Berlin at 11 am. The demonstration will pass the Berliner Straße to Glienicker Bridge where activists from Berlin will welcome the protesting people. The next night will be spent in Dahlem from where all people will go together to the protest tents at the Oranienplatz.

We want to call for all people who want to support us to join our protest and our following actions.

Come all to the „Freiland“ in the Friedrich-Engels-Straße at 11 am tomorrow and support the demonstration of the Refugee Protest March.
